EcoTill Subsoiler takes soil cultivation to the next level

28 October 2025

What began as a solution for grassland turned out to be surprisingly effective in all soil types — from sand to clay. This is how the Batak EcoTill subsoiler was born: a robust machine that does far more than just improve grassland.

The Batak EcoTill subsoiler combines innovation and versatility in one machine. Designed for subsoiling in crops, direct seeding, and minimal- tillage the EcoTill subsoiler provides farmers and contractors with a powerful solution against soil compaction and compacted layers.

Thanks to its unique tine design, the machine loosens the subsoil without mixing the different soil layers. This preserves the soil structure, allows rainwater to infiltrate more quickly, and improves root access to oxygen, water, and nutrients. The result: healthier soil and stronger crops.

Smart design, practical operation

Ahead of each tine, a spring-loaded disc cuts through crop residues and crops. This prevents clogging and minimizes crop damage. The subsoiler tines are made of Hardox steel and equipped with interchangeable wear and chisel points (6 or 25 cm wide). With a maximum working depth of 50 cm, the EcoTill subsoiler offers flexibility for a wide range of soil conditions.

To reconsolidate the loosened soil, the machine features individually suspended, heavy cast steel rollers. This system ensures a level finish and optimal power transfer, preventing wheel slip. Working depth is easily adjusted using a pin/hole system, while the spring tension provides the correct roller pressure.

Reliable in All Conditions
The EcoTill subsoiler comes standard with shear bolt protection, safeguarding the tines from overload and stones. For stony soils, an optional hydraulic stone protection system is available. Depending on the model — with 3, 5, or 7 tines — the tines are arranged in a V- or W-shape, ensuring optimal soil flow and smooth operation even in heavy or dry soils.

In summary: the advantages of the EcoTill subsoiler

  • Improves soil aeration and water infiltration
  • Prevents mixing of soil layers
  • Avoids residue build-up in front of the tines
  • Maximum working depth up to 50 cm
  • Hardox tines with interchangeable wear and chisel points
  • Durable and efficient power transfer via cast steel rollers
  • Flexible use across various soil types

“With the EcoTill subsoiler, we demonstrate that soil cultivation and sustainability go hand in hand,” says Bram Dieker, Product Manager at Evers. “Our customers are looking for machines that are not only powerful and reliable but also contribute to better soil structure and higher yields. The EcoTill delivers exactly that.”

With the EcoTill subsoiler, Evers sets a new standard in sustainable and efficient soil cultivation.
