The Shallow-cut cultivator is a cultivator designed for ultra-shallow cutting of crops. A patented innovation for sustainable and chemical-free crop management. Versatile in use and suitable for shallow operations from 1–8 cm. Thanks to a patented principle in which each tine, together with a cutting disc and depth-control ring, is suspended in a parallelogram, every chisel follows the soil completely independently. As a result, the working depth remains consistently the same, regardless of variations within the field.
This is precisely where the Lundy stands out: the machine effortlessly compensates for wheel tracks, crop residues, and other irregularities that are almost always present in practice. The result is an extremely flat and uniform cutting pattern across the entire working width.
In crop rotation systems, efficient and precise work is essential for a good start of the next crop. This is exactly where the Lundy makes the difference, as the crop is cut just below the soil surface, causing the root to lose its connection with the above-ground plant. As a result, the crop dies off completely and mineralization begins. The cut crop remains airy on the soil surface, forming a mulch layer. This mulch layer provides natural protection, helps retain soil moisture, suppresses weeds, and limits the risk of drought stress in the following crop
