As a result, the crop dies off completely and mineralization begins. The cut crop remains airy on the soil surface, forming a mulch layer. This mulch layer provides natural protection, helps retain soil moisture, suppresses weeds, and limits the risk of drought stress in the following crop

A unique patented system

The Evers Lundy stands for strength, reliability, and flexibility—exactly what is needed for precision work under varying conditions. The Lundy features a unique patented system:

• Each tine operates independently. The cultivation depth remains constant, supported by the individual parallelogram suspension per tine
• Contour-following cutting disc with 8 degrees of lateral movement to both sides, allowing the disc to follow curves.
• Working depth adjustable from 1 to 8 cm, in 5 mm increments.
• Each chisel precisely follows the contours of the soil, unaffected by movements in the frame or adjacent tines, thanks to the cutting disc with depth-control ring.
• The cutting disc pre-cuts the soil and any crop residues, while the depth-control ring determines the exact working depth.
• The Lundy keeps the working depth stable, even when the field contains light tracks or irregularities. This ensures a consistently clean cutting pattern with minimal soil disturbance.
• Maintenance-free components make the machine low-maintenance.
• The chisel can be adjusted in 5 different positions: flat, and 1 or 2 degrees forward or backward.
• The smart suspension keeps the chisel positioned flat, producing a uniform and even cutting pattern. The wide wings on the chisels ensure continuous overlap.
• Thanks to the spring suspension, each element has preload and continuous obstacle protection. This ensures constant pressure on the cutting disc and chisel. The machine delivers a clean result under various conditions, with 30 degrees of movement per element.
• The spring action in the hoes also creates vibration, which facilitates cutting and reduces the required power.
